To fund the supply of life saving Triple Combination Anti Retro Virals (ARVs) for those who are unable to access this proven life saving medication.
To provide additional support to ensure ARV treatment is effective.
To identify suitable initiatives to treat and care for those in such need.
To leverage our success by introducing these initiatives to other larger NGO's.
The average cost of ARV provision, including our contribution toward ensuring effective HIV treatment, is currently £280 per patient per year.
To date (September 2009), and with your generous support, we have
directly helped to save 569 lives and many more indirectly. Of this 569 only 4 have died; 166 have been found places on other effective ARV
programmes. Through our Doctors we currently fund medical
support for 303 individuals who get their ARVs elsewhere and fund both
ARVs and medical support for the remaining 96.
