Now we are asking others, such as you, to help us - 100% of your generous support will be used to fund the treatment of HIV - the cost of all overheads are fully covered by the 2 Founder Trustees (Jeremy Norman & Derek Frost). We have a simple, secure, effective and tested system in place. We have purposely grown slowly to ensure that your money can be safely entrusted to our care. The average cost of ARV provision including our contribution toward ensuring effective HIV treatment is currently £280 per patient per year.
Sponsors are those who sign a Standing Order for £280 a year. Sponsors are linked to a named beneficiary and sent an annual update about their progress.

Sometimes, the best presents aren't the ones we're given, but the ones we give. Every year, it becomes harder and harder to think of gifts we'd like to receive. AA is the official charity of Soho Gyms (of which the AA Founder Trustees are Directors) and our many members are hugely supportive. On several occasions Soho Gym Staff and members have raised money by running marathons and other challenges. A big thank you to Soho Gyms.
Friends and others, formerly unknown to us, have done similar. One young friend amazingly raised more than £10,000 running the London marathon 2007. At his specific request his donation was used to support HIV+ children.
Please do this for us - excellent for your health and feelings of self worth. Great fun!

Another very valuable way to help, would be to encourage your company to support AA. Many successful companies now feel, rightly, that it is their duty to support charities. Benefits include demonstrating corporate social responsibility, inspiring and motivating employees, tax deductions, increasing both their brand awareness and the public awareness of AA's work. Please ask your company to consider doing this for us.
